TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Tucson’s legendary Lodge Congress is acquiring a revamp that team say is a lot more than a century in the building.
The historic property, which has been closed all of July, is slated to re-open Aug. 12 after the 1st period of a $750,000 remodeling work, the Arizona Daily Star noted.
Todd Haney, typical supervisor, reported the new advancements involve expanding the out of doors plaza wherever they commonly host live shows. The room will have a retractable cover with a professional misting program.
David Slutes, the hotel’s leisure director, stated they want to be in a position to have more live shows for the duration of the summer months. But when it is really cooler, the canopy will not be up.
